How to: Edit the default terminal size in Linux Mint 13

In Linux Mint, the terminal has a fix default size. It is nothing special because you can change it after opening it. However, in some cases, you will need to edit the default size of the terminal. For example, I just installed archey on my box and put it into the bash config file, with the original default size of the terminal, the Linux Mint logo is broken:

edit default terminal size linux mint

To edit the default size of the terminal, you click Edit then select the Profile Preferences option:

edit terminal size linux mint

In the Edit Profile Default window, check the  "Use custom default terminal size" box and you then can edit the default size of the terminal:


After editing the default terminal size, archey looks really nice now:
